Salutations friend, and welcome to The Profit Scale. This is the podcast for consultants, experts, and service providers who either already serve corporate clients or transitioning towards it. This is the place where you can find tailored solutions to help you close your first, next, or biggest client yet.
I'm your host and Income Strategist, RJ Connell, and if you are looking for expert strategies to help you build on your existing success, then you, my friend, are in the right place. Turn up the volume and lean in, 'cause we are about to get started.
Salutations, friend! It’s RJ Connell here. We are only a few days away from Quarter 4 of the year! I do not know about you, but 2020 has felt like one of the fastest years ever! So much has happened in these past nine months of 2020, so in today’s conversation, I want to spend some time catching you up.
RJC Consulting has had some changes over the past few months, and we are excited about the opportunity to serve you, the Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC), and allied entrepreneurs better.
We have a pretty significant shift coming up in our business, so let me get you all caught up!
As you already know, friend, Systems That Scale is our signature program that teaches consultants how to land corporate contracts. We specialize in all things business-to-business (B2B) as it relates to corporate clients, and this program has been a great success for us this year.
As I began to reflect and plan for the year ahead, one of the changes we are making is focusing on the Systems That Scale program as our main service offering so that we can better support B2B consultants.
It means Systems That Scale will be the main opportunity for you to work with us, and we will be offering limited service while the program is closed. So what does this mean for you, exactly? How does that affect your life? Well, it also means that we are going to be shifting the focus of our podcast topics to address the challenges and skillsets to B2B consultants. It means that the type of content that we will share will become more industry-specific, catering to B2B consultants, B2B sales, and sales operations.
You may also notice that the type of language used will change. It will incorporate more sales terminology and accompany fewer definitions.
Our goal is to provide you with industry-leading information and strategy, the kind that happens in the corporate board rooms, and make it accessible for you so that you can enter corporate boardrooms with confidence.
While I understand that not everyone wants to operate in the corporate world, I am hopeful, and I encourage you to keep on listening. If you apply even a portion of the material that we will be sharing over the next few months to your business, you’re going to notice a huge difference, whether you serve corporate clients or not.
Friend, I am so grateful for faithful listeners like you who subscribe to the podcast, have left us a review, and are joining me here digitally for our bi-weekly conversations. I want you to know how much your listenership means to me and Team RJC. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
You will start to notice these changes as of our next episode, where we will be talking about conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for your business!
If you haven’t done so already, it would mean so much to me, friend, if you left us a review on iTunes to help us bring this information to more BIPOC entrepreneurs and allies like you! Head over to iTunes or use the link in the show notes to leave us a 5-star rating and review.
I’m excited to dive deep into quarterly business reviews in our next episode, and until then, friend, I wish you coins, confidence, and all the bags. Bye for now!
